Churches
The services at St John the Baptist Church are advertised in the monthly Parish News.

Post Office
There are post offices in the nearby villages of Scotter and Kirton-in-Lindsey. There are post boxes on Manor Road and opposite Parkside House on the B1205.

Transport
On Thursday mornings a free bus service goes to the Asda supermarket in Scunthorpe. It leaves at 9.10am and returns from Asda at 11.40am.

The County Council currently has the InterConnect Service which provides a minibus to connect with the public service between Gainsborough, Scunthorpe and Lincoln. You can call 0845 234334  for more information and to book this service.

There are railway stations at Scunthorpe and Gainsborough Lea Road.

Shops and Newspapers
The are general supplies shops in Scotter and Kirton in Lindsey.

Sunday newspaper deliveries can be arranged by contacting Mr Shucksmith, tel. 01652 648510. Advance orders required.

Parish Magazine
This is prepared in Scotton and delivered free of charge to all households in Northorpe.

Policing
Northorpe’s Neighbourhood Policing Team is based at the Police Station, Mortin Terrace, Gainsborough. It comprises PC Mark Leggott, PCSO Carl Anderson and PCSO Emma Messom. For non emergency matters call 01427 810910, and dial 999 for emergencies.
