  • There remain 2 vacancies on NPC. DG to publicise accordingly.

  • DG to establish costs for grasscutting for 2024.
  • Road degradation to be placed on FixMyStreet
  • Entry sign to the village at junction of B1205 and Monson Road has been replaced.

Play Park                                                                                                                                                    (006/2024)

  • DG to contact landowners with regard to of the terms of covenant governing the land upon which the children’s play area is sited.
  • DG to obtain price for replacement of goal netting.
  • DG to cost remedial actions to address concerns within recent ROSPA inspection of playpark.
  • PM is to treat the base of the wooden posts with rubber solution, to prolong the life of the equipment.
  • AH to arrange for large planter in play area, to be “topped” with “suitable material” for easy maintenance in spring 2024.

Burial Ground                                                                                                                                           (007/2024)

  • DG has procured a green waste bin for 2024 (at a cost of £44).
  • DG still attempting to establish ownership of area to the left of burial ground entrance,
  • Contractor has been contacted to clear overgrown area at perimeter of burial ground following offer of £500 external funding, DG to pursue this.

  • Xmas tree was procured and installed over the festive period.
  • Site for Xmas tree adjacent to village noticeboard has been prepared for future years.
  • AC procured solar powered lights for Xmas tree.
  • Proposed to hold a village coffee morning on the Summer Solstice (Jun 22nd TBC)
